Melbourne-based auction house Donington Auctions has opened its new Sydney operation, based at Amaroo Park, Annangrove in the city’s north west.

Housed in one of the historic buildings that was once part of the famous former motor racing complex the new branch is headed by Damien Duigan, a well-respected figure in the classic car and motorcycle auction industry. Damien brings a wealth of experience, having served as a senior advisor with Shannons Auctions in Sydney for the past six years. Joining him is Sam Jackson, an experienced auction advisor and fellow enthusiast, who previously worked alongside Damien at Shannons until the business’s closure.

Donington’s Cameron Sabine said the operation offers on-site auction previewing for cars and motorcycles, and that the new facility will ultimately be a “go-to” destination for enthusiasts and club members with plans for regular events already in motion.
